Meade RCX-400 CCD images by Nik Szymanek (Essex, England)

Scroll down the page to see a selection of images taken with a 12" Meade RCX-400. The telescope was installed in my observatory on an Astro Engineering MegaWedge and Pier. The M27 image below was taken on the first night of installation. Initial impressions are very good with reasonable tracking and pointing capabilities. The optics seem quite good but, in common with many users on the RCX-400 Yahoo group, there seems to be some radial flaring around bright stars.
