Latest Images from La Palma
June 2001
Robert Dalby and I travelled to La Palma at the end of June 2001 and were treated to 7 out of 8 clear nights. The emphasis on this visit was to secure high-resolution LRGB CCD images using an SBIG ST-8E CCD camera kindly loaned by fellow CCD enthusiast Gordon Rogers.
Below is a selection of images from this trip. The daylight and telescope pictures were taken using a Sony VX2000 digital video camera. The deep sky objects were taken using Kodak Elite 200 ISO film, Nikon FM2 SLRs and a Vixen GP tracking mount.
