Astronomical Society of the Pacific

Amateur Achievement Award 2004

In July 2004 I was very lucky to be invited to Berkeley, California to receive the Astronomical Society of the Pacific's Amateur Achievement Award for 2004. This was in recognition of the astronomical image processing and Public Outreach that I have been doing for several astronomical institutions. There were some very famous people at the ceremony and it was very nice to be able to talk to many amateur astronomers from the USA. Below is a selection of pictures from the award ceremony.
